Kia Foundation’s Fight against Covid-19: PPE Kits for the Healthcare Heroes

We, at Kia Foundation had been distributing relief in the form of sanitary, grocery, household kits and also cooked meals, during the Covid-19 Pandemic to the displaced people, widows, daily wagers, migrant labours since April this year. We have been able to reach out to approximately 25,000 people uptill now.
In May, we extended our aid to provide vital Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to the  hospitals handling COVID-19 patients in Mumbai.
Each PPE Kit consists of:
✓95 GSM DRDO-approved Body Gown and Face Shield
✓3 ply Face Mask
✓Examination Gloves
✓Disposal Bags
We targeted 2000 PPE kits will be distributed over the next several days to hospitals in Mumbai treating COVID-19 patients.
We have reached out to approximately 700 health-care staff and housekeepers of Jogeshwari BMC Hospital and a few other Private Health-care units.
We pledge reaching out to more doctors, nurses, and housekeeping staff of various institutions.
We appeal to every individual to open their hearts and donate for our Healthcare Heroes. The Healthcare workers are the frontline fighters against Covid-19 who are protecting us by risking their own lives, but they face critical shortages of Personal Protective Equipments.
Together we can and we will make a difference.

Donate to support community kitchen by KIA

Lakhs of people were stranded when the transport services were shut post 25th March 2020 due to the nation-wide lock down.

Such people do not even have a place to live let alone have access to basic meals a day. Some people have exhausted their gas cylinder or kerosene and cannot buy more because they have no money.

We, at KIA Foundation along with our network of partner organization and volunteering field team, decided to provide lunch and dinner through our community kitchens to serve such individuals living in slums / temporary huts / roads of Santosh Nagar and Jogeshwari East,Anandnagar Oshiwara,Malwani Malad along with some minor hutments of Mumbai.

We have fed more that 16557 individuals as on 17.05.2020
By donating 100 rupees each (that help us feed one individual) you will help us keep our community kitchen running.
